AltMFA in NY!
at the Alternative Art School Fair at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn 19-20 November 2016 Nathania Hartley, Naima Karlsson and Marion Tu attended on our behalf, set out and hosted our busy stall, inviting visitors to chat over a cup of tea served in bespoke mugs designed and handcrafted by Amy Leung, and they participated in a panel discussion on The Price of Education, with Sommerskolen and The Cheapest University. |
AltMFA at Courtauld Institute for Res|Fest 15 March 2017 On the panel to debate the current state of arts education were Russell Martin from Artquest, Jane Sillis from Engage, Kathryn Welford from Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Paul Maheke, artist and ex-OSE associate, Emma Edmondson, founder of TOMA in Southend, Alan Magee, artist and UAL lecturer, and Sadie Edginton and Nathania Hartley from AltMFA. AltMFA Live Art Tour: States of Flux

From the current water-born movement crisis, to the shape-shifting lives of struggling people in the city, the river is both a respite and a threat. AltMFA artists respond to the states of flux associated with the constant movement of the river.
Actions, subtle site-specific works, live performances and interventions on the walkways and waterways along this stretch of the Thames.
