The Drawing and Dancing Society
With Lucy Thane, Ella Guru, Adam Vass and Arkem
A Drawing Group in which the Models talk back, feedback, dance and draw themselves. Models might be Dancers, Performing Tableaux, or Rehearsing musicians. Drawing can be either a quiet and contemplative or a performance act… The Drawing and Dancing Society stress movement and expression rather than academic skill. The longest pose a model might hold is 20 minutes. But often they are in continuous motion, making for a fun and challenging drawing experience.
Please note: the workshop will need to start promptly at 7pm in order to fit in all the fantastic performers! Please arrive a little early to help facilitate this.
Best bring your own favourite drawing stuff - paper, drawing utensils, etc. and some pocket money if you want to partake of light refreshments being laid on for this event. (Donation based to cover costs of provisions)
